Saturday is Farmers' Market(s) Day for us. First, we'll head to the Greensboro Farmers' Curb Market at 501 Yanceyville St. and then we'll head out to the Piedmont Triad Farmers' Market. Between the two venues, there will be plenty of local produce; plus, we'll see friends and take plenty of photos! This photo of peaches was taken earlier in the season but is still in the spirit of buying locally! We've got a bushel of hot peppers waiting for us at the Farmer's Market off of Sandy Ridge Road. We love hot peppers but still aren't sure what we'll do with a whole bushel. If you have ideas, let us know. If you are local and want to teach us to can in exchange for some of the spoils, let us know!
Yummy. They are very appetizing! Lovely still life!

We are headed to our Farmers Market in just a few minutes!
I end up chopping all the peppers we get into salsa and sometimes I add them to cornbread (the real kind, not sweet cakey kind} or to creamed corn. I am sure there are lots of good ideas out on the net!
Have a great weekend.

Pretty and perfect peaches.
About peppers and canning I know nothing.

What a great blog! I really miss having a camera. Ours died from overwork on our Alaskan cruise! I should have another one soon. Thanks for your kind comment at SST.

Oh, those look good and I can smell them - we do live on the best place for those yummies!

I took a nice walk this morning, but I went the other direction from our Sunday Market, so I'll visit your market instead :) Can I take home some some fresh food?
Re: my many blogs. I'm fortunate in that blogging can be considered part of my work, so I can spend work time on it. Due to the way the Internet works and the way Google ranks pages, any active incoming links help my main business site, so I have some fun with it :) You'll notice that some are a bit out of date. It's been a busy time with our new shopping cart and some changes that have been needed in our page code. Thanks for asking and thanks for visiting!
