If you haven't been to the Greensboro Arboretum yet this summer, please make an effort to visit. With all of the rain this spring, the gardens are in full splendor. The hydrangeas, cone flowers, bee balm, walking trails, mature trees, fountains, and open green space, make the Arboretum one of the most photogenic places in town. Take your tennis shoes as it is a great place to exercise. The women in the photo are fanning themselves and taking a break from the heat. If you like sepia and black and white, view more photos at Aileni's site.
A very rich sepia which does suggest the lushness of the surroundings.

I like it a lot. The long hair and the long dress look a bit romantic and go very well with the sepia! The background is gorgeous. The street lights in my post are at the NC State Fairgrounds.

Very intersting processing of this image . . . it makes it look so vintage. Thanks for the reminder to visit my local arboretum soon.

Wow, the sepia and the deep shadow, all of the shading from deepest dark to light make this just beautiful! I see blurred effects, too. I'm not sure what you did here, but it's outstanding!
