Back alley ways and side streets can yield some interesting views. This scene, taken from East Lewis Street downtown looks like it could have been lifted from the 1978 musical "Grease." Perhaps John Travolta will be jumping out of the car at any minute. Does anyone know the year, make, and model of this car?
That would appear to be a 1978-80 Pontiac Firebird (The Kickin Chicken).

Cant be a 76'. 76' had metal bumpers (all firebirds and Camaros had metal bumpers until 77')

That there motorcar looks like a 1979 to 81 Pontaic Firebird Esprit. They usually had V6 engines and were more luxury than sport compared to the V* powered Formulas and Trans-Ams.
