State Street is reminiscent of walking through a quaint community at the beach. Eclectic, local-proprietor shops abound. If you haven't walked State Street lately, you are missing something special. The last two times we've been there, this car has been parked on the 400 block. As it turns out, Kneaded Energy is located at 408 1/2 State Street. For now, we'll just have to sit back, enjoy our coffee from Carolina Coffee and Tea (400 State Street) while looking at this picture on the Smart Car! Happy Friday! Why don't you head out and see if you can spot the kneaded energy mobile--ette.
Love the color coordination ~ I so want a little smart car. Perfect for a "Grandmother Car"...you know, one you hop into to go babysit. The only problem, if "grandmother" gets in the way of a big ol' truck, bye bye granny.

It would seem that the paint job would cost more than the car.

From the Smart website,
"The 2008 smart fortwo achieved the highest ratings from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) for front and side crashworthiness. We encourage you to see for yourself how the smart performed in the tests conducted by the IIHS by visiting www.iihs.org."
Who would've thunk it??!!
As for the price....the Daimler-Benz heritage probably is a factor there, but "they" say it's a great time to buy a car. What do you think?

Those who are in the car market need to consider the fact that gas prices aren't going to remain this low forever.

June:
Another grandmother echoed your sentiment about the smart car being the perfect grandmother car. Only, her rationale was that "you can visit the grandbabies, but when you are ready to go, you can't fit all those grandbabies, car seats, diaper bags, toys, and other paraphernalia in the car."
Actually, the smart cars have more room than one might think!
