Featuring an Episcopal church for our Sacred Sunday has been long overdue. Here we see St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, located at 2105 West Market Street. Although their website does not have a history section, we did learn that the church is over 100 years old at that it has at least 500 members. This brick, steepled structure is a traditional style, common throughout America.
St. Andrew's is a bit hard to photograph as it is located on a busy street and the structure is long and skinny. However, we do like the way the steeple glistens against the blue sky. If you live in Greensboro, you realize this photo was taken a couple of weeks ago as, lately, the skies have been extremely overcast!
