Nothing beats a good hair stylist. Here we see Robin working her magic at Leon's Style Salon on Friendly Avenue. Leon's has several salons throughout Greensboro, including a beauty school. Not only do they give great cuts at a great price, they are committed to showing original contemporary works of art. Artwork at the local salons features local artists from photographers to sculptors. The round mirrors add such drama to this salon with all of the original artwork on the wall.

Using a salon as an art gallery is a great idea. Much more enlightnning to see original works of art than those ads for beauty products with pouty air brushed women which make you feel somewhat flawed.

My stylist has a different artist showcased every month, too. Surprisingly, it is a good venue for sales.
