Spring spruce up has begun! Here we see All-Brite Signs of Randleman painting the signs for Irving Park Plaza. We knew we were in the south taking this picture because, the man in the bucket waived and smiled and NOBODY came up to us asking why we were taking pictures! Not only friendliness but also professionalism exuded from this crew.
Developed in 1911, Irving Park is one of Greensboro's oldest neighborhoods and the houses there hold their value today. The hallmark of shopping in Irving Park is family owned businesses. The plaza and a nearby plaza offer everything from sewing machine repair to art galleries to a children's shoe store. This is our contribution to Sky Watch Friday. While the sky is gray, the evergreen tree reminds us that nature may be dormant but it is alive and well!

Great shot, I like the solitary tree in the middle of it all.

Your grey skies look a lot like what our skies looked like yesterday but it was RAINING here for about 30 hours or so. Love the colorful blue and yellow too ;-)
Hugs and bessings,
