Here we see a new five-story building under construction at 324 South Elm Street. The property was an empty lot for several years. We are happy to see new construction downtown; perhaps it is an indication that the local economy is improving. Some of the names on the construction site signage include: Lindbrook Development Services, Landmark Builders, Triad Design Group, Bradley & Ball Architects, ESC LLP Carolinas. We can't wait to see finished building and to learn more about it!

We have a lot of buildings that look just like this. Unfortunately, they have looked like this for a long time.
