There is so much to see in this picture! At first I thought that was a refreshing pool of water in the foreground, but now I see it is an extremely well polished floor. The mural is wonderful and that bear is so life-like, I can imagine there are a lot of frightened toddlers holding on to mommy and daddy's hand.

Yes, the Natural Science Center is memorable, for sure. The toddlers are all eyes in that entrance hallway. The foreground of the picture is the second floor circular cut-out from which one can view the Foucault Pendulum lumbering away (see Monday's picture of the pendulum from the second-floor view).

Kids must love this place.

Seniors love it too! Just last year I visited with some college alum friends to see Eury, the anteater that had just been acquired for the Center. He shared his space with two maned wolves. It is hard to believe that this is the same place I used to take my son to see a few goats and handle a few animals. A great community asset. JTM

This is one of our favorite places to go, and one of the many reasons I love living in Greensboro.

Looks like a great place to see animals.

This place is a jewel and remarkable for a city the size of Greensboro. They have a huge expansion bond being voted on November 3rd. Everyone needs to vote yes. Their plans are truly extraordinary and, I for one, would love to see an aquarium in Greensboro, just as they have proposed.

Do you have ideas which worth millions but you lack the necessary capital to put your idea to test?
