We've not yet left the house today and it feels as if we are gathering our ensemble for the Fourth of July: Magiceye, Carver, David Zen-K, Babooshka, Evita, and Jim K, and all the rest of you who have not penned a comment. So many continents brought together. Oh how we love the community of bloggers!

Thank you for stopping by Brushstokes... I am in the process of putting together either a slide show of my paintings, or a catalog. Just started posted one a day on my side bar. I've been painting watercolors for years, but never persued going farther than friends and family. So thanks for your encouraging words. I will let you know when I get a link, or a way to show them all.
I will be back to see more of your daily photos.

What a great photo for the 4th of July! It is so nostalgic, and a true Americana capture.

Not much in the sky but brightness to shine on that store. I would like to visit one of those some day too.

This kind of store is quite intriguing, mainly becuase I don't think we have one like it in Australia! (But I could be wrong!) The signs almost stand out like traffic lights on the wall in contrast with the blue of the sky!

That is the kind of a place we would swerve across the traffic lanes to stop and visit!
Have a great 4th!
