Welcome to Greensboro Daily Photo (GDP). GDP is my foray into the blogging world. On days that I don't get out to take pictures of the people, events, and places in Greensboro, I'll share shots of collectibles, especially North Carolina pottery and hand-blown, 20th century, American glassware. GDP is in good company as our city is blessed with another daily photo blog, In Good Light.

I'm not sure that this round building didn't start out as a florist's shop. I seem to recall something about its initial appearance resembling a flower pot. I hope others will corroborate this or refute it as the case may be. JTM
